Biography

Eloïse Berthier is a part-time researcher at ENSTA, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, at Unité d’Informatique et d’Ingénierie des Systèmes (U2IS). She is also a Hi! Paris Fellow for the 2026-2029 period.

Her research lies at the intersection of optimization and learning for large-scale, streaming, and time-varying data. He works on online algorithms, flexible optimization for cyber-physical systems, and variational quantum algorithms for optimization problems. His application domains include smart grids, intelligent transportation, personalized health, incentive design, and quantum computing.
