The session will bring together researchers, founders, investors, and public decision-makers to explore the rise of Physical AI, dual-use applications, defense, strategic capabilities, and Europe’s position in this fast-evolving field.

Vincent Rapp, Executive Director of Hi! PARIS, will contribute to the academic and technological framing of the discussion, alongside Inge Kerkloh-Devif, Anousheh Ansari, Tom Villinger, André Loesekrug-Pietri, Florian Corgnou, and other speakers from the research, innovation, and policy ecosystems.

Connecting research, innovation, and the future of work

On June 17, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Région Île-de-France stand, HEC Paris will announce the launch of LIFT, the Laboratory for Innovation in the Future & Transformation of Work, in partnership with the Région Île-de-France, Accenture, and Google.

The announcement will take place in the presence of Valérie Pécresse, President of the Région Île-de-France, and Eloïc Peyrache, Dean of HEC Paris. It will be followed by a panel discussion bringing together representatives from the partner organizations and Antonin Bergeaud, HEC Paris professor, Hi! PARIS Fellow, Director of LIFT, and 2025 Best Young Economist.

This new research lab will focus on innovation, the future of work, and the transformation of organizations, echoing key questions at the intersection of AI, economic change, and society.

The same day, Hi! PARIS and Capgemini will also take part in a sequence dedicated to the Future of Work Impact Report. With contributions from Vincent Rapp, Yann Algan, and Etienne Grass, this moment will highlight the value of connecting academic research, business questions, and societal impact through long-term collaboration.
