Iryna Gurevych is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where she leads the UKP Lab.

She is widely recognized for her work, holding memberships in prestigious academies such as Academia Europaea and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. A recipient of major honors, including the 2025 Royal Society Milner Award and an ERC Advanced Grant, she has also served as President of the Association for Computational Linguistics. With over 340 publications and numerous leadership roles in European AI initiatives, she is a leading figure in computational linguistics and AI research.
