Hélène Halconruy is an Assistant Professor at Télécom SudParis, where she joined in 2023, and a Hi! PARIS Fellow.
Her research lies at the interface of probability, statistics, and machine learning, with a focus on inference for stochastic and dynamical systems. She works on nonparametric estimation, model selection for dependent data, robust statistical methods, and parameter estimation for stochastic differential equations.
More recently, her work has explored differential privacy in learning problems, particularly for dynamical systems, where probabilistic methods help analyze the trade-offs between accuracy and privacy over time. Before joining Télécom SudParis, she was a Lecturer in Finance at ESILV and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Luxembourg. She received her PhD from Télécom Paris in 2020.
