AI4IDF 2026, midterm event at Cap Digital

Cap Digital and DIM AI4IDF invite you to AI4IDF 2026, the midterm event of the Île-de-France Artificial Intelligence DIM, on Thursday, March 12, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at Cap Digital’s headquarters in Paris.

Co-organized by DIM AI4IDF, which brings together, under the coordination of Inria, the four major AI research clusters supported by the Île-de-France Region (PRAIRIE, SCAI, Hi! PARIS, and Institut DATAIA), and Cap Digital, this evening will gather researchers, PhD students, companies, startups, and public stakeholders to discuss structural AI advancements in the Paris Region.

Designed as a midterm highlight, AI4IDF 2026 will offer an inspiring overview of the work carried out within the DIM toward human-centered AI with a social impact:

  • AI, an ambition for the Paris Region – Speaker from the Île-de-France Region (TBC)
  • 3D Creation: The AI Revolution – Keynote by Marie-Paule Cani, Professor of Computer Science, École Polytechnique
  • Robotic Platform Demonstration – Guillaume Morel, Professor of Robotics, Sorbonne University

6 PhD Pitches illustrating the wealth of AI research in the fields of health and creation:

  • Gwenn Guichaoua – Machine learning for the characterization of TNBC breast cancers
  • Adam Remaki – Modeling the progression of chronic diseases via medical reports
  • Rita Yabouri – Predicting cognitive trajectories in elderly people at risk of Alzheimer’s disease
  • Adam Remaki – Beyond Recombination: Exploring the Impact of Meiotic Frequency on Genome-wide Genetic Diversity
  • Paul Saighi – Unsupervised learning in an electronic spiking neural network for brain-machine interfaces
  • Reda Khoufache – Scalable non-parametric Bayesian models for clustering and co-clustering

Closing Remarks by Chloé Clavel, coordinator of DIM AI4IDF: progress report and focus on upcoming priorities.
The evening will conclude with a networking cocktail, providing a convivial space for discussion and collaboration between research and innovation.
