On the Education pillar, our goal is twofold:
First, we support our founding schools in strengthening AI and data science education. This includes flagship training formats such as the Summer School, as well as targeted programs like the Jean Z initiative under France 2030 on key skills for tomorrow’s research engineers, delivered in collaboration with our Engineering Team and doctoral schools. We also help faculty design hands-on sessions and demonstrations that make learning more practical and engaging for students.
Our second objective is to raise global awareness of data science and AI by organizing annual data events, such as the Data Bootcamp and the Hi!ckathon. These events focus on AI-related topics and are designed to engage participants from around the world, fostering a deeper understanding of these critical fields. Through these initiatives, we aim to inspire and educate a broader audience, encouraging innovation and collaboration in data science and AI.
Data Boot Camp
Hi!ckathon
The Data Boot Camp is an immersive program designed to introduce students from our founding schools to the world of data and AI, particularly those who have never had prior exposure to these fields. Through hands-on sessions and interactive learning experiences, participants gain a foundational understanding of data science and AI, equipping them with the essential skills needed to navigate and contribute to a data-driven world.
The Hi!ckathon is a high-intensity competition that brings together advanced students from our founding schools and across France to tackle multidisciplinary challenges centered around the theme of “AI & Sustainability.” This event not only sharpens participants’ technical skills but also encourages innovative thinking and collaboration, with strong support and involvement from Hi! PARIS’ corporate donors.
Enhancing Education and Innovation Through the HFactory
For all these activities within the Education pillar, to further improve the quality and innovation of our founding schools’ educational programs and for Hi! PARIS Data Events, we leverage the HFactory. The HFactory is the first startup created following the creation of Hi! PARIS. It the first all-in-one platform for creating experiential learning activities, which serves both students and professors.
